There is so much to do in the area did you know that Pembrokeshire has more tourist activities than any other county in the country.
For all you water sport fans and beach lovers no other county in the UK has more seaside awards or blue flag beaches so whether its surfing, kayaking and sailing, or just relaxing in the sand, there’s a beach for you. According to National Geographic Pembrokeshire has the second best beaches in the world.
We have 7 golf courses within a 15 minute drive.
The nearest being just 5 minutes away and there are another 49 within driving distance. For history lovers there are 51 forts and castles in Pembrokeshire as well as walled towns and fortified palaces scattered around the surrounding countryside. We have more castles per square mile than any other country in Western Europe.

For walkers there are paths and trails starting from the front door, The Mill pond walk or the town trail which follows the town walls to Pembroke castle, home of Henry VII. Or for something more challenging there is 186 miles of beautiful coastal footpaths and the Preseli Mountains.
For the birdwatchers there is so much to do exploring the coastal islands, mountains, Lily ponds, the estuary and Mud flats, National Park, RSPB reserve, Botanical gardens, not to mention the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
With all these activities available whether you are a photographer, artist or an adrenaline junkie we have something to keep you entertained every day, and we have enough quality restaurants to eat somewhere different every night.
